2018 sangiovese
Our 2018 Sangiovese blend is being sourced from the Clos Cheval Vineyards in Lake Chelan. A touch of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec was added to round out this captivating blend. Sangiovese is in fact the most planted grape in central Italy. In Washington we are able to produce a bigger bodied version, with notes of coffee and dark fruits that are not commonly seen in the Italian versions. Our blend opens with notes of fresh strawberries and black currants. Delicate aromas of espresso and spice adds a seductive layer of depth mid-palate. The finish lingers with “bing cherry” that will make your mouth water. I recommend pairing this wine with spice driven-foods or your favorite grilled protein.

The Brut, crafted from 80% Chardonnay. My previous sparklings were mainly Riesling or Pinot Noir, but this time I aimed for a wine that expresses the exceptional quality of Washington State Chardonnay. It’s perfect for holiday celebrations with family and friends.
